or more like a fall from reveling? Moira has seen the power of one choice in the game we call Fantasy Cricket. But there are still 3 games left, three opportunities to make the inspired choice, three chances for glory, three more stabs at improving your place. So, don't lose hope, you all can do it, whatever it is. For me? Well, I have been mucking around in this top group, I'd like to soar past a few of them. Let's see what I can do today.
New Zealand will be playing South Africa - sure wish I could watch this one, it should be a goodun'
Then on Thursday (well wed. night for me) Australia will battle India - another epic game I wish I could see. Michael was trying to find away for us to watch. And he found one, it involved $40 and watching the game on my phone............no thanks, I can't even imagine the eyestrain from watching 8 hours on my phone.
The winner of those two matches will battle it out in the Final on Sunday (Saturday night). I think the top 4 teams are all well deserving of their spots and I suspect 3 nail biting matches ahead. I still predict New Zealand / India in the final and I will further predict New Zealand take the title. As for us? Its to close to predict, anything can happen.
Have fun!

Oh I am excited for today! I have 3 players that the those ahead of me do not. (of course that means they have 3 that I do not) So, Down with Amla, du Plessis, and Tahir! Go Duminy, Williamson and Morkel!!!!!!!!
ReplyDeleteI will be watching while sitting in my bed and with a cup of coffee. Will only see the latter half unless I want to be awake in the small hours, which I don't. But it should be a good match unless there is a collapse of some sort. This competition is really hotting up.
ReplyDeleteSome very poetic commentary at the start of the Cricinfo page. It ends with "May the best team win and may the second-best have the heart to get over it". I think that goes for our tournament as well.
ReplyDeletewell said Anna, or should I say, well cut and pasted
ReplyDeleteI can cut and paste with the best of them.
ReplyDeleteAnd so I've just checked and the New Zealanders were in and lost only three wickets, but the game has been suspended due to rain. Eish. So, if this game is decided on run rate or whatever, what happens to our scores in this game? I can't see the games either. Not live anyway. I could if I paid R900 to get the premier 'bouquet' on the digital channel. Nah.
ReplyDeleteAre we watching the same game Moira? The one I am watching has SA batting first. Good game, good coffee, comfy bed. Nice words Anna, to comfort those of us who tried but lost.
ReplyDeleteI'd love to watch, but not on the phone. I'll just have to watch all my points roll in.
