Into the Semis We GO!

sandwich

Corn Salad

Moira, the above links are the two vegan recipes I made. Our guest liked the corn salad so much he had 3 helpings and asked for the recipe. I thought the sandwich was also very tasty. James, the veggies didn't do anything to me but I'm an equal opportunity kinda gal.

Back to cricket............Sri Lanka beat Australia. I'm assuming you knew that by now. So, tomorrow England will take on South Africa and then on Thursday India will battle Sri Lanka. Have you all made your trades? Don't forget. I for one am planning on really turning on the heat in these last few matches. I might even change my captain. Missy has been overheard boasting about having full teams lined up. Michael is still trying to figure out who is playing. Bob is beside himself that Sri Lanka are going through. James is shaking in his boots watching Katy S rise through ranks. What is up with you?????

Good Luck tomorrow.

  1. The gloves are off! I note that Anna has hidden her team. I have my own surprises, Anna, so have hidden my team too. James isn't the only one shaking in his boots - me too! Do you think I can be watching the scores on my phone during lessons if I hide my phone behind the desk or under my skirt? Need to ask the kids how they do it. Good luck all - this is getting exciting. Would be nice if we could all get together for a big party afterwards...

  2. Thanks for your recipes, Katy. They look very good. I shall be trying them in the next couple of days. I wouldn't have thought of the molasses. Hmmm... As for the cricket, I may be in a tight spot. Or not. Depends on the jolly South Africans again. Not in terms of patriotism. Just dumb luck... Theirs and mine.

  3. That was a strange game. What happened to all the 'good' players? This competition is so unpredictable. Just not sure which way to go with India and Sri Lanka.

  5. I would like to have an in query. What is Katy S doing. I think there must be some ball irregularities. How do we total her score? When she switched teams did she get all her trades back. Something doesn't smell right in Brentwood. Seams like more than apricots to me.
